2:127 Abraham's prayer
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
خداوندا از ما بپذير، چون تو شنونده دانايی
Our Lord accept from us, You hear all and know all.
2:128 Abraham's Prayer
رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمِينَ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ ... وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
خداوندا،
ما را تسليم خود ساز و از نسل ما امتی بوجود آور كه تسليم تو
باشند
و
توبه ما را بپذير چون تو توبه پذير مهربان هستی
...
Our Lord, make the two of us submit to You, and from our offspring, a group who submit to You, … , and turn to us (and forgive us). You accept the repentance and are the merciful (kind).
2:201 Prayer of some people
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
خداوندا، در دنيا و آخرت وضع خوبی بما بده و ما را از عذاب آتش جهنم حفظ نما
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the fire (of hell).
2:250 Army of Talut's prayer
رَبَّنَا
أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى
الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
.خداوندا،
به ما صبر عطا كن و قدمهای ما را ثابت نما و ما را در مقابل افراد
بی ايمان پيروز گردان
Our Lord, give us patience and solidify our steps and help us against disbelieving people.
2:286 Prayer of believers
رَبَّنَا لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَآ أَنتَ مَوْلاَنَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
خداوندا، اگر فراموش كرديم يا اشتباه كرديم ما را مجازات نكن, خداوندا، تكليف سنگينی، آنطور كه بر عهده کسانی که قبل از ما بودند گذاشتی بر عهده ما مگذار خداوندا، چيزی که طاقت آن را نداريم بر عهده ما مگذار و گناه ما را ببخش و ما را بيامرز و بما رحم كن فقط تو مولا و سرور ما هستی، پس ما را بر افراد بی ايمان پيروز گردان
Our Lord, do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not impose a burden on us as you imposed on those before us. Our Lord, do not impose on us what we can not bear. Pardon us and forgive us (our sins) and have mercy (kindness) on us. You are our guardian (and protector), so help us (to victory) against disbelieving people.
3:8 Prayer of scholars
رَبَّنَا لاَ تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
خدايا، دل ما را پس از اينكه ما را هدايت كردی متمايل بباطل نساز و رحمت خودت را بما عطا كن، چون تو عطا كننده‌ای
Our Lord, do not let our hearts (minds) deviate after You have guided us, and give us mercy (kindness) from Your presence. You are the giver.
3:16 Prayer of some worshipers
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
خداوندا، ايمان آورديم، گناهان ما را بيامرز و ما را از عذاب آتش جهنم حفظ نما
Our Lord, we have indeed believed, forgive us our sins, and save us from the punishment of the fire (of hell).
3:38 Zacharia's prayer
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاء
خداوندا، از طرف خودت بمن فرزند پاكی عطا كن چون تو شنونده دعا هستی
Our Lord, give me a good child from Your presence, you are the hearer of the calls (for help).
3:53 Prayer of Jesus apostles
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلَتْ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
خداوندا، ما به آنچه نازل كردی ايمان آورديم و از رسول پيروی كرديم پس ما را در رديف شاهدان بنويس
Our Lord, we believe in what you have sent down and we follow the messenger, so write us down as witnesses.
3:147 Prayer of prophets
ربَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
خداوندا، گناهان و زياده روی‌های ما را در كارمان بيآمرز و قدمهای ما را ثابت كن و ما را بر افراد بی‌ايمان پيروز گردان
Our Lord, forgive our sins and our excesses in our affairs, and solidify our steps and help us (to victory) against the disbelieving people
3:191-194 Prayer of understanding people
رَبَّنَا ... سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الأبْرَارِ رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ وَلاَ تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
خداوندا،...
تو
پاكی، ما را از عذاب آتش جهنم حفظ فرما
خداوندا،
هر كسی را كه وارد آتش جهنم كنی مسلما او را خوار كرده‌ای
و ظالم‌ها مددكاری ندارند
خداوندا،
شنيديم که کسی به صدای بلند مردم را به ايمان دعوت ميکرد که
به خداوندتان ايمان بياوريد، ما هم ايمان آورديم خداوندا،
گناهان ما را بيامرز و بديهای ما را به حساب نياور و ما را با
نيكان از دنيا ببر
خداوندا،
آنچه توسط پيغمبرانت بما وعده دادی بما بده و روز قيامت ما را
خوار نساز،تو كاری برخلاف وعده‌ات نميكنی
Our Lord, ... Glory to You. Save us from the punishment of the fire (of hell). Our Lord, You have indeed humiliated anyone that You enter into the fire (of hell). There are no helpers for the wrongdoers (cruel). Our Lord, we heard a caller call for the belief (saying): believe in your Lord. So we believed. Our Lord, forgive our sins and eliminate our bad deeds, and make us die with the good ones. Our Lord, give us what you promised us through your messengers and do not humiliate us in the Day of Resurrection. You do not break Your promise.
4:75 Prayer of those being wronged
رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا
خداوندا، ما را از اين شهری كه مردمش ظالم هستند نجات بده و از طرف خود پشتيبان و ياوری برای ما قرار بده
Our Lord, save us from this town whose inhabitants are wrongdoers (cruel), and give us a protector and a helper from Your presence.
5:83 Prayer of Christians (who believe)
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
خداوندا ايمان آورديم ما را جزو شاهدان بنويس
Our Lord, we believe, write us down as witnesses.
6:79 Abraham's prayer
إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا أَنَاْ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
من مخلصانه تنها به كسی رو آورده‌ام كه آسمانها و زمين را آفريد و من مشرک نيستم
I have turned my face in monotheism toward Him who created the skies and the earth. And I am not one of the polytheist.
6:162 Mohammad's prayer
إِنَّ صَلاَتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
نماز من، عبادات من، زندگی من و مرگ من برای خداست كه سرور همه انسانها ميباشد
My mandatory prayers, my devotion (and worship), my life, and my death are only for God, the Lord of the people of the world.
7:47 Prayer of people in paradise
رَبَّنَا لاَ تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
خداوندا ما را در شمار افراد ظالم قرار مده
Our Lord, do not put us with wrongdoers (cruel).
7:23 Adam and Eve's prayer
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
خداوندا به خودمان ظلم كرديم اگر ما را نيامرزی و به ما رحم نكنی از زيانكاران خواهيم بود
Our Lord, we have been wrong to ourselves, and if you do not forgive us or have mercy on us, we will be losers
7:126 Prayer of Pharaoh's magicians
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
خداوندا، بما صبر بده و ما را مسلمان (تسليم حكم خودت) از دنيا ببر
Our Lord, give us patience and let us die as submitters.
7:155-156 Moses prayer
رَّبِّ ... أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْغَافِرِينَ وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَا إِلَيْكَ
خداوندا،... تو ياور مائی؛ ما را بيامرز و بما رحم كن.تو بهترين آمرزنده‌ای.وضع خوبی برای ما در دنيا و آخرت مقرر فرما.ما به راه تو هدايت شديم.
My Lord, ...You are our protector (and supporter), so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best of the forgivers. And write (destine) us that which is good in this world and in the hereafter, for we have been guided to You.
10:85-86 Prayer of one of Moses' tribes
رَبَّنَا لاَ تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
خداوندا، ما را برای ستمكاران وسيله آزمايش قرار نده و ما را با رحمت خودت از دست قومی كه ايمان ندارند نجات بده
Our Lord, do not make us a test for the wrongdoing people (cruel people), and save us by Your mercy (kindness) from the disbelieving people.
11:47 Noah's prayer
رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَإِلاَّ تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُن مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
خداوندا، من از اينكه چيزی را كه نميدانم از تو بخواهم بتو پناه ميبرم.اگر مرا نيامرزی و بمن رحم نكنی از زيانكاران خواهم بود
My Lord, I look for Your protection for asking You what I have no knowledge of. And if You don’t forgive me and don’t have mercy on me, I will be of the losers.
12:101 Joseph's prayer
رَبِّ … أَنتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنُيَا وَالآخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ
خداوندا، … تو سرور من در دنيا و آخرت هستی ، مرا مسلمان از دنيا ببر و مرا جزو افراد درستكار گردان
My Lord, … You are my protector (and guardian) in this life and the hereafter, make (let) me die as submitter and join me with the righteous
14:35 Abraham's prayer
رَبِّ … اجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ الأَصْنَامَ
خداوندا، … من و فرزندانم را از بندگی بت‌ها بركنار دار
My Lord,, … Keep me and my sons away from serving (worshiping) idols
14:40-41 Abraham's prayer
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلاَةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاء رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
خداوندا، من و فرزندان مرا برپا دارندگان نماز گردان. خداوندا، دعايم را بپذير.خداوندا، روزی كه حساب برپا
ميشود ( روز قيامت)، من و پدر و مادرم و افراد باايمان را بيامرز
My Lord, make me and my descendants performers of the mandatory prayer. My Lord, accept my prayers. My Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers on the day that the reckoning is established (the Day of Judgment).
17:80-81 Mohammad was told to say in his prayer
...رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا
جَاء الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا
خداوندا مرا صادقانه وارد كن و صادقانه خارج كن و برای من از طرف خودت دليل و قدرت كمك كننده ای قرار بده ...حق آمد و باطل از بين رفت مسلما باطل از بين رفتنی است
My Lord, make me enter a true (perfect) entrance and make me exit a true (perfect) exit (in everything that I do) and give me a helping power from Your presence... the truth has come and falsehood has died out. Falsehood will certainly die out
17:111 Mohammad is told to say
الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَم يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلِيٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلَّ
ستايش ( بزرگداشت ) فقط برای خدائی است كه فرزندی ندارد و در فرمانروائی هم شريکی ندارد و ضعيف نبوده كه احتياج به مددكاری داشته باشد
Praise belongs to God, Who has not taken a child, and has no partner in His rule, and there is no supporter (helper) for Him out of weakness.
18:10 Prayer of the people of the cave (of Kahf)
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
خداوندا، بما رحمتی كن و وسيله هدايت ما را در كارمان فراهم نما
Our Lord, give us mercy (kindness) form Your presence, and set up the right way for us in our affairs.
20:25-28 Moses prayer
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
.خداوندا بمن حوصله بده و كار مرا آسان نما. گره از زبانم بگشا تا حرفم را بفهمند
My Lord, expand my chest (give me patience), and make my task easy for me, and remove the knot from my tongue (allow me to speak clearly), so they understand what I say.
20:114 Mohammad is told to say
رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
خدايا علم مرا زياد کن
My Lord, increase my knowledge.
23:29 Noah's Prayer
رَّبِّ أَنزِلْنِي مُنزَلًا مُّبَارَكًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ
خدايا مرا در جای پر برکتی پائين بياور.تو بهترين فرود آورنده ای
My Lord, make me land in a blessed landing place, you are the best to make (people) land.
23:94 Mohammad's prayer
رَبِّ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي فِي الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
خداوندا، مرا جزو افرادی که ظلم ميکنند قرار نده
My Lord, do not make me of the wrongdoing people.
23:97-98 Mohammad is told to say
رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ
خداوندا، از وسوسه شيطانها به تو پناه ميبرم و از اينکه سراغ من بيايند به تو پناه ميبرم
My Lord, I look for Your protection from seduction of the devils, and my Lord, I look for your protection from them
23:109 Prayer of some of God's worshipers
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
خداوندا،ايمان آورديم ما را بيامرز و بما رحم کن، تو بهترين رحم کننده هستی
Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us and have mercy (kindness) on us, You are the best of the merciful ones.
23:118 Mohammad is told to say
رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
خداوندا مرا بيامرز و به من رحم کن. تو بهترين رحم کننده هستی
My Lord, forgive and have mercy (kindness), and you are the best of merciful ones.
25:65 Prayer of the servants of the beneficent
رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا
خداوندا، عذاب جهنم را از ما برگردان، چون عذاب آن دائمی است
Our Lord, turn us away from punishment of hell, for it is a lasting punishment.
25:74 prayer of those who have repented
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
خداوندا، بما همسران وفرزندانی بده که چشم ما را روشن کنندو ما را امام (پيشوای) پرهيزکاران گردان
Our Lord, give us spouses and children that are joys of our eyes, and make us leader of those who are wary (of You).
26:78-89 Abraham's prayer
الَّذِي خَلَقَنِي فَهُوَ يَهْدِينِ وَالَّذِي هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِي وَيَسْقِينِ وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ وَالَّذِي يُمِيتُنِي ثُمَّ يُحْيِينِ وَالَّذِي أَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لِي خَطِيئَتِي يَوْمَ الدِّينِ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ وَاجْعَل لِّي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ ... وَلَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
آن كه مرا خلق كرد، مرا هدايت ميكند، وجودی كه بمن غذا و آب ميدهد، وقتی مريض شوم مرا شفا ميدهد، آن كه جان مرا ميگيرد و بعد مرا زنده ميكند آن كه اميدوارم روز جزا خطاهای مرا ببخشد.خدايا بمن حكمت بده و مرا جزو افراد درستكار ساز و در ميان امتهای آينده مرا نيكنام گردان، مرا از وارثان بهشت پر نعمت گردان ... و روز قيامت مرا خوار نسازكه مال و فرزند فايده‌ای ندارد مگر كسی كه دلی پاك پيش خدا بياورد
The One Who created me, and He guides me, and the One Who gives me food and drink (water), and when I get sick, then He cures me, and the One Who make me die, then brings me back to life, and the One Who, I hope, will forgive my mistake on the Day of Judgment. My Lord, give me wisdom and join me with the righteous, and give me a good reputation on the tongue of future generations, and make me of the inheritors of the garden of delight, … and do not humiliate me on the day that they are raised (resurrected), the day that wealth and sons (children) will have no benefit, except him who brings a pure (and good) heart to God.
26:169 Lot's prayer
رَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهْلِي مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ
خدايا من و خانواده‌ام را از كارهائی كه ميكنند نجات بده
My Lord, save me and my family from what they do.
27:19 Solomon's prayer
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
خداوندا، بمن توفيق بده كه شكر نعمتی كه به من و مادرم و پدرم دادی بجا آورم و كار درستی بكنم كه مورد رضايت تو باشد و به لطف خودت مرا جزوبندگان درستكارت بنما
My Lord, empower me to be thankful for Your favors that You granted me and my parents, and to do good work to please You, and by Your mercy (kindness) admit me as Your righteous servants.
28:16-17 Moses prayer
رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ … رَبِّ بِمَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًا لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ
...خداوندا، من بخودم ظلم كردم. مرا بيامرز
خداوندا، بخاطر نعمتی كه بمن دادی هرگز پشتيبان گناهكاران نخواهم بود
My Lord, I did wrong to myself, so forgive me...my Lord, for what you have favored me with, I shall never be a supporter of the guilty ones.
28:21 Moses prayer
رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
خداوندا، مرا از شر قوم ستمكار نجات بده
My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people.
28:24 Moses prayer
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
خداوندا، من به هر خيری كه برای من بفرستی احتياج دارم
My Lord, I am in need of whatever good you send to me.
29:30 Lot's prayer
رَبِّ انصُرْنِي عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
خداوندا، به من در مقابل افراد تبهكار كمك كن
My Lord, help me against the corrupt people.
33:67-68 Prayer of disbelievers
رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السَّبِيلَا رَبَّنَا آتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ وَالْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا كَبِيرًا
خداوندا ما از آقايان و بزرگانمان اطاعت كرديم، آنها ما را گمراه كردند.خداوندا، عذاب آنها را چند برابر بده و آنها را هر چه بيشتر از رحمت خود دور ساز
Our lord, we obeyed our leaders and our elders (great ones), and they made us lose the (right) way. Our lord, give them double their punishment and curse them with a great curse.
37:100 Abraham's prayer
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
خداوندا، فرزند صالحی به من عطا كن
My Lord, give me a righteous (son).
38:35 Solomon's prayer
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي ... إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
خداوندا، مرا بيامرز... چون تو عطا كننده‌ای
My Lord, forgive me, ... you are the giver.
40:7-9 Prayer of the angels
رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدتَّهُم وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَن تَقِ السَّيِّئَاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُ وَذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
خداوندا،دامنه رحمت و علم تو همه چيز را فرا گرفته پس كسانی را كه توبه كردند و از راه تو پيروی كردند بيامرز و آنها را از عذاب آتش جهنم حفظ فرما، خداوندا، آنها را به بهشت‌های جاويدی كه به آنها و پدران و همسران و فرزندان درستكارشان وعده داده‌ای وارد كن چون تو توانا و حكيم هستی.و آنها را از بديها حفظ كن.کسی را كه در آن روز از بديها حفظ کنی به او لطف كرده‌ای و اين موفقيت بزرگی است
Our Lord, Your mercy (kindness) and knowledge contains everything; so forgive those who repent and follow Your way and save them from punishment of the hellfire. Our Lord, enter them into gardens of Eden (paradise) which you had promised them and whoever did good among their fathers, their wives, and their descendants. You are indeed the powerful, the wise, and guard them from the badness, and on that day whomever you protect against badness, you indeed have had mercy on him, and that is the great achievement.
46:15 Mohammad's Prayer
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
خداوندا مرا موفق كن كه شكر نعمتی كه به من و پدر و مادرم دادی بنمايم و كار درستی كه مورد رضايت تو باشد بكنم و فرزندان مرا صالح كن،من بسوی تو برگشته‌ام و تسليم حكم و نظر تو هستم
My Lord, empower me that I may be grateful for Your favor that you favored upon me and upon my parents, and to do good work that pleases You, and make my descendants righteous, I have indeed turned to You (in repentance) and I am among the submitted ones.
59:10 Believer's prayer
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا
خداوندا، ما و برادرانمان را كه قبل از ما ايمان آوردند بيامرز و در دل ما كينه‌ای نسبت به افراد باايمان قرار مده
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who came to faith before us, and do not put any grudge/resentment in our hearts toward those who believed.
60:4-5 Abraham's prayer
رَّبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
خدايا، بتو توكل كرده‌ايم و بسوی تو برميگرديم بازگشت همه بسوی توست. خدايا، ما را وسيله امتحان كافران قرار نده. خدايا، ما را بيامرز، تو قدرتمند حکيمی
Our Lord, we trust in You and we turn to You (in repentance) and the final return is to You. Our Lord, do not make us a test for those who disbelieve, and forgive us our Lord. You are indeed the powerful, the wise.
66:8 Prayer of believers
رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
خداوندا، نور ما را كامل ساز و ما را بيامرز.چون تو قادر به انجام دادن هر كاری هستی
Our Lord complete our light for us and forgive us, You are capable of everything.
66:11 Prayer of Pharaoh's wife
رَبِّ ابْنِ لِي عِندَكَ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ ... وَنَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
خداوندا، خانه‌ای در بهشت پيش خودت برای من بساز... و مرا از دست افرادی كه ظلم ميكنند نجات بده
My Lord, build me a house with you in the garden (paradise) … and save me from the wrongdoing people.
67:29 Mohammad is told to say
هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ آمَنَّا بِهِ وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا
او خداوند رحمان است. به او ايمان آورديم و بر او توكل كرديم
He is the beneficent, we believe in Him and we trust in Him
71:5-6 Noah's complain
رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِي لَيْلًا وَنَهَارًا فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ دُعَائِي إِلَّا فِرَارًا
خداوندا، من شب و روز قومم را دعوت كردم. ولی دعوت من فقط به فرار آنها اضافه كرد
My Lord, I invite my people night and day, but my invitation only increased (their) running away.
71:26 Noah's prayer
رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا
خداوندا، احدی از كافران را روی زمين باقی نگذار
My Lord, do not leave any of the disbelievers living on the land
71:28 Noah's prayer
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارً
من
و پدر و مادرم را و هر کسی كه باايمان وارد خانه من ميشود و مردان
و زنان باايمان را بيامرز
و
بر نابودی افرادی كه
ظلم ميكنند اضافه
كن
My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and whoever enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women, and do not increase the wrongdoers in anything except in downfall (and destruction).

2:186 Who answers the prayer
وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُواْ بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ
وقتی بندگان من درباره من از تو سئوال ميكنند، من به ايشان نزديكم، دعای دعا كننده را وقتی مرا به كمك بخواند اجابت ميكنم پس آنها بايد دستورها و نظرهای مرا قبول كنند و به من ايمان بياورند تا هدايت شوند
When My servants ask you about Me, I am indeed near them. I answer the calls of the prayerful when they call for my help. They should comply with My call (My commands) and believe in Me, so they may be shown the right path
17:11 Be careful in your prayers
وَيَدْعُ الإِنسَانُ بِالشَّرِّ دُعَاءهُ بِالْخَيْرِ وَكَانَ الإِنسَانُ عَجُولً
.انسان همانطور كه دعای خير ميکند دعای بد ميکند. انسان خيلی عجله دارد
Human prays for bad as he prays for good, for Human is very hasty (impulsive and rash).
27:62 Who answers the prayer
أَمَّن يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَاء الْأَرْضِ أَإِلَهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ
يا چه کسی دعای درمانده را وقتی كه او را به كمك ميخواند اجابت ميکند و گرفتاری را برطرف ميگرداند
و شما را در زمين جانشين ميكند؟ آيا معبودی با خدا وجود دارد؟ توجه کمی پيدا ميكنيد.
Who answers the distressed when he prays to Him and removes the badness and makes you successors (inheritors) on the earth? Is there a god with God? Few take notice.
40:60 God declares
ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ
مرا بخوانيد تا دعای شما را اجابت كنم
Call on Me, I will answer you
25:77 Mohammad is told about prayer
مَا يَعْبَأُ بِكُمْ رَبِّي لَوْلَا دُعَاؤُكُمْ
اگر دعای شما نباشد خداوندم چه توجهی به شما بکند؟
My Lord would not care about you if it was not for your prayers.
